Saga Fundraiser Tops $4,000 Target

The Saga Society held its first annual Easter Raffle on Sunday, April 16, 2006 at BC’s Bar and Grill as part of their “Hundred Days for a Hundred Neuters/Spays Campaign.” It was a fun-filled event that helped raise $1,400 for the charitable organization.

The monies collected placed Saga over the top on their campaign to raise $4,000. A visitor to the island made a generous offer to Saga to raise that amount of money which she would match if raised by June 24. With the money raised, Saga will be able to neuter/spay 100 cats and 100 dogs. Saga would like to thank all those who contributed to the campaign.
