Rich Grimm is back with over 110 skydivers this year in his fourth annual Boogie In Belize. Close to 100 jumpers have taken to the skies every day since Sunday, February 23, as skydivers from around the globe have joined the “Boggie” to marvel at the exotic location of Ambergris Caye, Belize.
The sad part of the story is that this might be the last Boggie In Belize since they are losing the landing sight to development and there seems to be no other alternative for the team of skydivers to do a repeat next year.
Residents have come to anticipate the arrival of the friendly group as each year they arrive with new and interesting people who also have contributed to the island. Many have made donations to numerous schools and other worthy causes. We welcome Rich and his group of skydivers once again to the island and hope for their possible return in the future.
SP Library Receives Donation from Rich Grimm & Tsunami Divers
On Tuesday, February 26, Rich Grimm of the Tsunami Sky Divers, along with his crew of sky divers presented the San Pedro Town Library with a check of $3,100 and large supplies of books, pencils, calculators among other stationery supplies.
Money donated to the San Pedro Town Library was raised at a Poker Tournament held on Sunday, February 24, at Pedro’s Inn where half of the money went towards the library and the other half was the prize pool.
The San Pedro Town Library would like to thank Mr. Rich Grimm and the skydivers for such a kind donation; the stationery supplies and money will be used for after-school activities and for their annual summer camp.
Special thanks to Rich Grimm and Sky divers, Pedro at Pedro’s Inn, Captain Shark’s, Premium Wines & Spirits and everyone who attended the Poker Tournament.
