The United Democratic Party of San Pedro held its first political rally since announcing the nominationof their seven candidates for the municipal elections for March 1, 2006.
The six town council candidates and Mayor candidate Elsa Paz all addressed the gathering at Central Park on Saturday, January 21, giving their proposals and promises if elected for another 3-year term.
Guest speakers at the event were Area Representative Manuel Heredia, UDP Party Leader Dean Barrow, Belize City UDP Mayoral candidate Zenaida Moya and Benque Viejo Mayor Said Guerra. All expressed their discontent with the PUP Central Government and promised much better things if a UDP Government is elected.
