Edwin Ramirez has done it again! He told Ambergris Today he was very confident that he was going to regain the gold and title for Mr. Belize that he had previously won in 2008 and lost in 2009.
He had increased his training regime months before the Mr. Belize Bodybuilding Competition, which proved to be instrumental to his win. Belizean bodybuilders hit the stage for a showdown of muscle and mass at the Bliss Institute, Belize City this past Friday, November 5. The competition featured eight top bodybuilders in different weight classes. Edwin was able to top the senior division and also take first place in the overall competition.
Ambergris Today had caught up with three-time champion Edwin Ramirez during one of his morning training sessions at the San Pedro Fitness Club to check his progress before the competition. Residents can remember witnessing Edwin showing off his hard work during the Independence Day Parade in San Pedro just two month ago. His muscles are pretty impressive and clearly show why his is number one, holding the title of Mr. Belize for three years.
“I have never stopped training and I love to represent San Pedro at the Mr. Belize Bodybuilding Competitions,” commented Edwin Ramirez to Ambergris Today. “I have been training very hard and I am very happy to get back the title of Mr. Belize 2010.”
