The lifeless body of a woman was found in an apartment complex on the beachside near the airstrip area on Tuesday, December 7. According to police reports, based on information received they visited an apartment where they observed the lifeless body of a Hispanic female lying on her back on a sofa under a white sheet. The body was identified to be of Suyapa Hernandez Alvarado, 36-year-old Honduran national.
A medical examination on the body revealed the time of death to be at about 5:00 p.m. There were no visible physical injuries observed in the body and after the scene was thoroughly processed the body was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in Belize City for a post mortem examination.
Update: Post mortem results on the body of Suyapa Alvarado revealed that she died due to hearth thrombosis (heart attack) due to a blood clot.
