The Ambergris Caye Citizens for Sustainable Development is pleased to announce the opening of its new office at 63 Barrier Reef Drive, San Pedro Town. It is located on Barrier Reef Drive (Front Street) on the second floor above the Blu Gift Shop.
The goals of the office are to promote sustainable development on the island, assist the Department of Environment (DOE), Geology and Forestry department to monitor developments on the island, provide residents and developers with information and support with development questions and issues and maintain a current file on all new, planned and ongoing developments on the island.
Office hours are from 8:00a.m. to 12noon and from 1:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. from Monday to Friday. The ACCSD telephone number is 226-2799. If you would like to become a member of the ACCSD, feel free to visit the office and fill out a membership form. Everybody is invited to submit any inquiries or concerns.
