Jimmy Buffett Brings His Sea Plane to San Pedro!

Even though we live on a beautiful island, it is not every day that we get to see a sea plane in San Pedro. So when were told that there was one at the John Greif II Airstrip we had to go and take a picture and find out more about the plane and to whom it belongs.

Reliable sources informed us that the sea plane (N208JB) belongs to famous singer/songwriter Jimmy Buffett. The plane stopped on Ambergris Caye for refueling and was piloted by one of our very own local pilots – Gerald Leslie of Tropic Air. Gerald will have the privilege to fly Mr. Buffett to Costa Rica where they will make another fuel stop and finally to their destination Panama. Happy travels Mr. Buffett!
