As part of the Global Classroom Project that two San Pedro High School students, Emilie Gomez and Ismael Kay will be participating from June 3 – 11 at Los Angeles, USA, a group of five students along with the heads of faculty of Cornwall College in England visited San Pedro High on Wednesday, June 1.
Mr. Jack Price and Ms. Vicky Cox, heads of faculty of Cornwall College along with the five students were given a tour of the San Pedro High School compound with special attention to the computer labs as Mr. Jack Price helped Debbie and Larry Heimgartner with the donation of 40 computers for the school.
Emilie Gomez and Ismael Kay had the opportunity to meet student Sammie Warne who has performed a series of monologues from the play “Our World VII” by Larry Heimgatner. Sammie, Emilie and Ismael will be performing in Los Angeles to the play “Our World Pre-XVI” which is based on Larry’s conversation with staff and students of Cornwall College.
Emily and Ismael will be travelling to Los Angeles, California along with Mrs. Conchita Flota (Chaperon) from June 3 to June 11, where they will participate in a theatrical production along with many others students from around the world. They will also attend several other activities such as visits to Hollywood, Disney Land and other social gatherings.
