An altercation between two men in the San Pedrito Area has left one person in serious health conditions after receiving several chop wounds to the body. His assailant is pending charges for dangerous harm.
According to San Pedro Police, at around 4:20 a.m., two men were involved in an altercation in the San Pedrito Area in the vicinity of Jeemar’s Bar. One of the men, 18-year-old, Eric Gutierrez received a chop wound to the head and two on the left arm. Gutierrez was taken to the San Pedro Poly Clinic for medical attention and was later transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in Belize City for further medical treatment.
San Pedro Police has since detained 31-year-old Roland Ford for investigation and is pending charges for dangerous harm.
