Children’s Week was observed from November 14 to the 18, 2011 in San Pedro and around the country of Belize. Schools held different educational and fun activities for the children to enjoy. Several schools held crazy day for children to dress up in a funny way and to express themselves freely and others held open day for both parents and the public to see all their hard work. Students also enjoyed watching educational movies and visits from non-profit organization groups that made presentations for them. Children’s week culminated on Friday, November 18, 2011, where several schools held class parties in honor of the children and the San Pedro RC School held a parade through the streets of San Pedro.
