SPHS Students Excel in CXC Examinations

San Pedro High School is proud to announce that students Zuleima Lopez, Lucio Nunez, Ramses Ramirez and Roxette Santos received Awards of Excellence for having passed more than six General Proficiency Grade I and II including English and Mathematics in the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) Examinations.

All three San Pedro High students were honored at the CXC Awards Ceremony held in Belize City. Lucio Nunez also obtained the highest overall grade in Biology in the entire country, while Roxette Santos obtained the highest overall grade in the entire country in English B, literature. Students also receiving Awards of Achievement included: Miguel Caliz, Tanya Jacobs, Cindy Novelo, Geovannie Reyes, Marla Salazar and Adam Veralls. These students also passed 6 or more subjects but with grades I, II or III.

“San Pedro High congratulates all teachers and parents who were part of the success of these students,” commented Principal Emil Vasquez. “In particular we congratulate Mrs. Michelle Turton, Biology Teacher and Mrs. Giselle Flores (Lobos) Literature teachers at San Pedro High for producing the best students in the nation in their individual subjects.”
