“Hot Spots 2012” With Johnny Jet To Air On Travel Channel – Renowned travel expert John E. DiScala (aka Johnny Jet), circles the globe for his first televised special “Hot Spots 2012,” which aired on the Travel Channel, January 1, 2012.
During the one-hour special, Johnny Jet gave away viewers a ringside seat as he uncovered the hottest travel destinations for 2012, revealing insider tips that only the most seasoned traveler would know.
According to the directory of photography for Travel Channel’s “New, Hot and Exciting: Hot Spots 2012”, Dan Lantz, during the filming in Belize the spent a whole night “tagging crocodiles” among other one of a kind experiences.
Belize was listed primarily because of an ancient Maya Stone Calendar located among the Maya Ruins that says the world will end abruptly on December 21, 2012. Most of the filming of Belize was done in the Cayo District and featured were Chaa Creek, Cheers Restaurant among others.
Re-runs of the show will be given on Travel Channel (channel 49) Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 4:00 p.m.
