Mobile Defibrillator Donated to San Pedro Poly Clinic

A group of businesses is responsible for the addition of a mobile defibrillator at the Dr. Otto Rodriguez San Pedro Poly Clinc. The donation was made possible by Captain Morgan’s Retreat, Palapa Bar, Kama Lounge and Cowboy Doug’s Pool Bar that united to donate the LIFEPACK Defibrillator along with some medications last week.

The group raised the funds to acquire the supplies through the Poker Runs social events that have gained massive popularity in San Pedro over a three-month period. The defibrillator that was donated has rechargeable batteries which is a great advantage prior to the one that they had could only be used approximately three times and had to be disposed of. The donation has an estimated value of Bze$5,000.

Mr. Owen Vellos, administrator of the Dr. Otto Rodriguez San Pedro PolyClinic II, Dr. Javier Zuniga, Dr. Noeli Nicholson and Dr. Laurenzco Nicholson were on hand as Alexandra Nicholson and Dave Hauttli of Kama Lounge , Ernie Olmstead of Captain Morgan’s Resort and Casino, Scott and Jodi from Palapa Bar and Doug Mercer Cowboy Doug’s/Grand Caribe presented the donation.
