Based on the book “25 Years Ago” by respected educator and historian Mr. Angel Nuñez, Lighthouse Christian Radio F.M 101.3 presents the radio program titled “Years Ago” that will take you back into the origins of La Isla Bonita.
The radio program will Remind or inform listeners of Lighthouse Christian Radio of the way of life here on the island before the many developments that changed this little piece of paradise we all call home.
The first episode is about the celebrations of Christmas and New Year “Years Ago” when life was a bit more peaceful here on the island.
Director Clive Welsh and Mr. Angel Nuñez talk about the events, people and customs of early Ambergris Caye. “Years Ago” will be aired at 5:00 AM, 12 Noon, and 7:00 PM on Sundays, starting this coming Sunday, January 13, 2013!
As an extension of the book and the weekly column on Ambergris Today, this interesting chit chat program on Lighthouse Christian Radio F.M 101.3, is a window of opportunity for those who do not do a lot of reading to appreciate the foundation and formation of San Pedro via the radio.
