San Pedro Police is investigating the death of a female US National whose body was found in a shallow area of the sea south of San Pedro Town. The 32 year old female from the state of Wyoming in the USA was found dead at 8:00 am on the beach front area of Royal Palm Villas.
According to reports the body of the female woman was retrieved from shallow waters behind the Royal Palm Resort in San Pedro Town on the morning of Wednesday, February 27, 2013, by a group of young men, who were cleaning the beachfront near Mata Rock Resort. The circumstances surrounding her death remain unknown; however, San Pedro Police is treating the incident as a possible homicide.
The female was observed wearing a black undershirt, a blue jeans short skirt and also had on a wedding band and a pair of earrings. San Pedro Police later learned that she was sharing a condominium with a female friend nearby. The woman, who has since been identified, was declared dead around nine a.m. by Dr. Giovanni Solorzano. The body was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for an autopsy.
UPDATE:
The female was identified to be 33-year-old American National Kristy Lynn Sy. An autopsy was conducted on the body of Krysty Lynn Sy which confirmed that Kristy died of natural causes.
