Miss Honduras World 2013, Monica Alexis Elwing Gough, has been confirmed of representing her country as Miss Honduras Costa Maya at the Reina de la Costa Maya Pageant that will be taking place at the International Costa Maya Festival in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize.
Nineteen year old Monica Alexis is the reigning Miss Honduras World 2013 and will represent Honduras at the Miss World 2013 in September, immediately after her participation in San Pedro at the pageant that will take place on August 3, 2013.
Monica stands 5’ 7” tall, is a radiology intern, has green eyes and light brown hair. She enjoys reading, volleyball and going to the beach. Miss Honduras now joins Belize representative Destinee Arnold, Miss Belize, as the second contestant to be announced for the pageant. All other Mundo Maya countries and Central American region have confirmed their participation at the pageant and the six remaining contestants will be announced shortly.
