It’s nothing new that the popular HGTV reality show House Hunters International is in Belize once again helping someone find a home in paradise. Well this time around House Hunters is back in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, with some attention being giving to the Saga Humane Society. Filming took place last night, Thursday, August 8, 2013, at AJ’s (Average Joe’s Bar) where the monthly Saga Cook Off took place.
House Hunters International is following Heather Beck, a United States resident and also a member of the Saga Board of Directors, who, after visiting the island on a regular basis, is ready to purchase a home in San Pedro. Because of Heather and her continued support and volunteering at Saga, House Hunters International took to filming at the humane society’s monthly cook off fundraiser that took place at the popular Average Joe’s Bar as they followed her around during her island activities.
Needless to say AJ’s was packed with a huge crowd. The highly popular cook off fundraisers are always a huge success and with people wanting to get a chance to be on TV, it was an even more successful event. Heather took the opportunity during the regular filming of the show to highlight her work with Saga, which she has been a very instrumental volunteer, advocate and supporter of.
It was definitely an great event that had people buzzing with excitement and with House Hunters International filming on the island, it will be great to catch the episode once it airs on HGTV.
