Cancun-Belize Connection Made Easy via Tropic Air

It’s faster, more convenient, scenic, luxurious and easy. Everybody likes EASY! This is what Tropic Air has done with travel to and from Belize and Cancun, Mexico. Its daily scheduled flights have bridged a gap between both countries and eliminated the cumbersome overnights stays in Cancun or long bus rides for those travelers connecting to Belize and Central America. Plus it’s ideal for Belizeans who choose Cancun as a vacation destination.

Cancun and other Mexican destinations in the Yucatan Peninsula seemed a long distance away as the usual route would be to take an 8-hour bus ride from Belize City or 6-hour bus from Chetumal, Mexico to Cancun. These long and tedious traveling hours have been significantly reduced with Tropic Air’s connection that was first launched over a year ago on March 2013.

Since then the route has picked up significant momentum that the airline added two new frequencies that allowed, for the first time, European visitors to connect southbound (same day) to Belize in Cancun. Passengers are able to transit in Cancun from Frankfurt, London, Manchester, Paris, Madrid, Munich and Amsterdam and get to Belize without cumbersome overnights. The current daily flight already allows for similar connections to be made northbound without having to overnight in Cancun.

The route now has daily scheduled flights throughout the week with the two new frequencies added on Tuesdays and Saturdays between Belize City International and Cancun:
