This past week, Belize Telemedia Limited (BTL) unveiled their 2015 installment of the annual telephone directory for Belize. The front cover of this year’s directory features an image of the Big Drop Falls in Southern Belize, taken by Belizean photographer, Tony Rath.
Senior brand and events representative of BTL Ellen Borland indicated that this is the first year that the company directory was outsourced to international firm Global Directories, a well-established international directory within the Caribbean, and that they are very pleased with the results. She added that the company prints about 50,000 large and 10,000 mini copies of the directory every year but that print was significantly higher this year.
Anamarie McCulloch, sales manager for Global Directories, explained that the new directory, while smaller in size than the usual directories, contains more listings, advertisements and content than last year.
“The size is mainly due to the quality of paper… the pages are made from recycled paper,” McCulloch said, “in keeping with the commitment of being an environmentally responsible corporate citizen.”
The Directory’s cover photo features one of the many natural and serene gifts of Mother Nature which resides in the heart of Mayflower Bocawina National Park in southern Belize – Big Drop Falls. The beautiful cover photo brings to life one of nature’s secret places nestled in the rainforest and features an impressive 165 foot waterfall empting out into the crystal clear pool below.
