Just when everybody was starting to ask if there was going to be a San Pedro International Costa Maya Festival this year, the festival committee steps up to announce the participation of Soca Queen Alison Hinds as a featured entertainer. Costa Maya Festival 2016 has been set to take place from August 4 to August 6 with three days of high-powered entertainment.
The Costa Maya Pageant will once again kick off the festival on Thursday, August 4, with the participation of eight beautiful and exotic delegates from the Mundo Maya countries and around the region.

Friday, August 5, will ignite with the stellar and high energy performance of Alison Hinds, British-born female soca artist based in Barbados. She is one of the most popular soca singers in the world and has been given the nickname the “Queen of Soca”. Alison was the lead singer of Square One, has collaborated with Kevin Lyttle, Machel Montano, Shaggy and Jah Cure, and made a huge hit with her own singles ‘Roll It Gal’ and ‘Faluma’.
Saturday, August 6, will be infused with a Latin flavor as grupo Super Lamas, from Veracruz, Mexico, will set the stage for live entertainment with its top hit and local sensation ‘Yo Quiero Chupar’. Learn more about them HERE.
