Mayor of San Pedro Town signed a memorandum of corporations with Belize Trade and Investment Development Services (BELTRAIDE) under the Small Business Development Center Belize (SBDC Belize) on Friday, October 21, 2016 at the San Pedro Town Council conference room.
This memorandum had been discussed over a period of 6 to 7 months, with ideas being exchanged and drafts being reviewed and approved it was finalized. This will help in areas such as trading and working with industry; and working with small businesses to improve on the economic conditions of San Pedro.
The mayor stated, “The beauty is that we can never be prepared for the unexpected. Due to developing lots of business and San Pedro growing so fast, with the help of BELTRAIDE to train in different areas of business San Pedro will provide better service to residents and visitors.”
