Look at the Baby Turtles Hatching

Turtles are hatching on North Ambergris Caye and the Ambergris Caye Marine Turtle Program (ACMTP) has this awesome video to share. This year they have recorded 92 nests on the island and most of the turtles are hatching at the moment.

The ACMTP closely monitors all the turtle nest their personnel find along the beaches north of the island and ensures they are protected from poachers. They also keep a close count and record data that can be use for research. Turtle nesting Season is at its peak with green and loggerhead turtle nesting July/August. The season runs from June to October.
