David and Anke Doehm Appear in Court for Cruelty to a Child Charges

David and Anke Doehm appeared in Belize City Court this morning, August 24, 2017, on charges of Cruelty to a Child in connection to the death of Faye Lin Cannon. The court hearing was scheduled to be held in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, but moved to Belize City this week.

Attorney Jaqueline Willoughby representing the state commented that a partial disclosure (mostly statements) was granted to the Doehms. Ellis Arnold represented Anke, but Dickie Bradley wasn’t there for David. The prosecution states that they should receive the rest of the disclosure by September 20, 2017, The preliminary inquiry into Faye’s death would be set for October 5, but that depends if the disclosure arrives as scheduled.

The Doehms did not speak and the case was adjourned to September 20, 2017. Nothing has changed in terms of their conditions for bail.
