This year The National Meteorological Service of Belize sent a representative for training in Washington, DC.

“I am very honored and grateful to have had this experience, this year.” Stated Ms. Angelina Guy in an online statement. “I learned a great deal, and the months I was there allowed me to see and work through Tropical waves, major (and destructive) hurricanes, frontal systems, shear lines, upper level lows/troughs, and other synoptic and mesoscale systems/features. Working together to improve our services.”

Ms. Angelia Guy was the 6th representative from the National Meteorological Service of Belize and has successfully completed her four month training at the Tropical Desk based in Washington, DC.
