It’s Christmas time and San Pedro knows how to celebrate during this festive season. Without a doubt one of the biggest parades that the island has seen this year took place on Sunday, December 10, 2017, as hundreds of island residents and tourists lined up the streets of San Pedro to witness Love FM’s Christmas Parade.
Love FM gathers groups, organizations and businesses that wish to participate in the fun and puts together a fun-filled parade full of lights, music and entertainment. This year saw the participation of the San Pedro Town Council with Santa Claus joining them in the fun and leading the parade. They were followed by the San Pedro RC School Marching Band and Majorettes and ABC Pre School with their fun mascots such Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and Donald – absolute highlight for the children.
Also joining in the fun was The Belize Tourism Board, Quick Stop Personal Finance Center, Sagebrush, Black and White Chirakanari Dancers, the Rotary Club of Ambergris Caye, Mar Alliance, SHINE, San Pedro High School Dancers, St. Francis Xavier Credit Union, Wings Department Store, Isla Bonita Elementary School, The Peoples United Party and Foreva Fancy Boutique.
