The Belize Hotel Association is excited to be able to offer the new BHA maps, at all of the trade shows they have recently attended. This item is a much requested and very important piece of collateral, for the Association and for potential visitors to Belize. Each year, the map is updated to include new members, and, along with the hotel guide, it is distributed at all the shows BHA attends worldwide.
The new BHA map was a joint effort between Cubola Productions, Anthony Hunt and the Belize Hotel Association team. Together, they created a fresh, new and modern design, which highlights, by region, all the exciting activities in Belize, the wildlife, the archaeological sites, and of course all of the Belize Hotel Association’s Hotel, DMC and Allied members.
In addition, this year, show attendees receive fancy bottle openers that double as refrigerator magnets. Colorful bookmarks that show a variety of wildlife found in Belize, are an attention grabber at the shows. Lip balms, in a variety of tropical flavors are also a hot item, particularly at the shows held in colder climates like Canada and Northeastern U.S.A. All these items are embossed with the Association logo, website and/or contact information. Booths are decked out with BHA’s brand new 10X10 backdrop, displaying an array of wildlife, set on an amazing photo of the Maya Ruin of Caracol, creating an almost virtual experience for booth visitors.
For Roadshows, and Travel-Trade shows, the BHA flash drives with the hotel guide loaded, are the item of choice for the agents, as these are easier to carry, and the information can be disseminated quickly to their work colleagues and clients.
The BHA continues to strive, to create a more vibrant presence in today’s travel market, with creative and innovative ideas that capture the attention of persons attending the shows. BHA’s volunteer Board of Directors travel to represent our Association at these shows, and they eagerly provide up-to-date information about our membership and our beautiful country of Belize to the trade-show attendees.
In addition to keeping BHA’s presence in markets where Belize is a top vacation destination for travelers, the BHA also looks to new markets where they see the potential for increased visitors to Belize. Summer months are top season for vacationers from Europe and South America for example, and the Belize Hotel Association is aggressively targeting these regions.
