Freak Storm In Guatemala Damages Tropic Aircraft

On Tuesday, July 17, 2018, late in the evening around 5:30p.m., one of Tropic Air Belize’s aircraft, a 7 seat GA8 Airvan, was damaged during a freak storm while it was parked for the night at the International Airport Mundo Maya in Flores (Peten), Guatemala. According to reports, thankfully all passengers and crew had already disembarked the plane when sudden gusts of winds and rain set on the international airport, causing the aircraft to flip.
