On Tuesday, 20th November, the Belize Embassy in Mexico City and Tropic Air sponsored a dinner event with the support of the Belize Tourism Board, the Belize Hotel Association and the Belize Tourism Industry Association (BTIA) with the sole objective to market and promote Belize to Mexican travel agents in support of the new route offered by AeroMexico.
The dinner event hosted an estimated 100 travel agents and press agents to meet with representatives from various Belizean resorts, hotels, tour operators and association representatives. Belizean representatives were able to network with Mexican Travel agents by having a table top with marketing materials available for distribution. The Mexican agents were also able to discuss the possibilities of offering packages for a Belizean experience.
The BTIA expresses its gratitude to his Excellency Ambassador Oliver Del Cid and Minister Counselor Carlos Montero for the support rendered to make this event a success.
