Triple R Response Helps Injured Man Involved in Boat Collision

Ricklee’s Response Rescue Team is actively working on the island to help in any situation possible and with their new emergency support van they were quick to assist on Sunday, January 27, 2019 when two boats collided by the Coast Guard base on the West side of Ambergris Caye.

According to reports, Triple R Response was called in by the Belize Coast Guard and the RRR Evacuation Team led by Billy Leslie quickly responded to the emergency call. Information revealed that one gentleman had fallen into the water and was struck by his own boat’s propeller sustain severe injuries.

The injured person was immediately transported to the San Pedro Poly Clinic where doctors treated him but it was quickly determined that he needed to go to Belize City for further medical attention. Triple R was instrumental in making the arrangements for the gentleman to flown immediately to Belize City. (News Source and Pictures by RRR)
