Caye Caulker Police are investigating a stabbing and chopping incident where two males received injuries during an altercation with another male individual. According to reports on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at about 6:00 p.m., police visited the Caye Caulker Polyclinic where they found Julian ‘Tito’ Rosado suffering from several chop wounds and a severed middle finger and Lahji Rosado with stab wounds.
Initial police investigation revealed that both men got into an argument with another mail individual who allegedly retrieved a knife and a machete from nearby bushes and inflicted said wounds. According to family relatives of the Rosado’s , Lahji received three stab wounds and Julian had about three chop wounds to the head; one behind his left ear, one on his left ear, one on his right arm almost at the elbow and his left thumb got chopped open.
Both persons were transported to Karl Heausner Memorial Hospital for further medical treatment. Police continue with their investigations.
