San Pedro Police Seize Over 23 Kilos of Cocaine

The Belize Police Department has confirmed that the San Pedro Police Department has seized over 23 kilos of suspected cocaine. According to the official report, San Pedro Police, assisted by GSU officers, visited an area two miles north of Boca Del Rio Park where they discovered a white crocus sack on the beach with several packages inside.

Twenty packages were accounted for; each was weighed individually. Nineteen of them weighed 1200 grams and one weighed 1050grams, all to a total of 23,850 grams. No one was in the immediate area so the suspected cocaine was labeled and deposited as found property.
