Last week the village of Caye Caulker was in the midst of a water and electricity crisis and even though things are back to normal the People’s United Party – Belize Rural South Representative – Mr. Andre Perez presented a donation of 20 Rotoplas Tanks to the community.
On Wednesday, January 8, 2019, Mr. Andre Perez officially handed over his donation to Village Council Chairperson Ms. Seleni Patt. These twenty Rotoplas tanks of various sizes will be strategically placed in various locations in Caye Caulker with the guidance of the Caye Caulker Village Council so that all residents can have access to water. There are plans to place more of these tanks to encourage residents to collect water in order to alleviate the water should the island face another water crisis.
These Rotoplas tanks were obtained by Mr. Andre Perez with the kind contribution of the private sector on the island.
