The children being housed at Hope Haven now have a new outdoor play area to enjoy thanks to the kind donation of Garbielle’s Wings with the help of Believers World Outreach.
According to Hope Haven’s Facebook page, in the summer of 2019, with a full house of children, they realized that they were in need of an outdoor play area for the kids to run around in and play games.
Gabrielle’s Wings founder Michelle Hord-White and Believers World Outreach, Kari Klopfer Bichsel and Becky Kettle-Gay organized their volunteers to transform an empty and unused space in Hope Haven’s yard into a play area for the children living in the shelter.
This fun space includes murals, inspirational quotes, proper shading, a hammock, hopscotch, magnet spaces, a musical corner, water/fishing section a basket-ball hoop, and our favorite: Benches that are converted into tables!
The children living at the shelter look forward to playing in a space that was created just for them. Kudos to Gabrielle’s Wings and Believers World Outreach for their hard work and kind gesture.
