This year, prepare yourself for the ultimate celebration as the festival extends to an unprecedented 14 days of non-stop lobster-themed festivities. Starting from July 3rd and culminating with the renowned annual Block Party at the Hon. Louis Sylvestre Sports Complex (Saca Chispas) on July 15th, this year’s festival promises to be the most exciting yet. And that’s not all—there’s an extra special Beach Party on the 16th at the Boca Del Rio Park to conclude the festivities in style.

Three Lobster Festivals in Belize
Remember that San Pedro’s Lobster Festival is not the only one in the country; Our neighboring island of Caye Caulker and Placencia Village in southern Belize also hold their own festivals dedicated to the spiny lobster.
Caye Caulker will be holding its Lobsterfest on July 14th, 15th, and 16th. A three-day celebration that’s shorter than San Pedro’s, but no less fun. If you’re not all lobstered out from ten days of feasting in San Pedro, you can nip over to Caye Caulker for more.

There is the Placencia Lobsterfest, also running from July 14th to July 16th this year. This one is famous for its massive beach parties, and again you can expect the village to be full across this weekend. It’s a pity that Placencia and Caye Caulker run concurrently, but you can still work it out to attend them all and boast in being the baddest Lobsterfest aficionado in Belize.
