After filming in Massachusetts last month, the second unit production of the movie Blood Knot, starring Michael Douglas, is set to start in Belize and Mexico City this summer. Douglas (Wall St, Fatal Attraction) and his oldest son Cameron will star opposite each other in the upcoming film, as a father and son trying to rekindle their broken relationship.
The synopsis per The Hollywood Reporter reads: “Michael Douglas plays a father who, in an attempt to reconnect with his estranged son, invites him to to Puerto Rico to compete in a father-son fishing competition. The rest of the film will told through flashbacks to bring the grandfather’s story to life, which will be shot in Belize and Mexico City later this summer.
