Surf's Up!

Ambergris Caye does not have the large waves crashing into shore like neighboring Cancun or surfing heavens like California or Hawaii, but during the Spring time when the winds pick up significantly, extreme sports athletes like Averaldo “Picho” Badillo enjoy kite surfing. It’s an extreme sport that looks very difficult to do, but Picho makes it looks so easy and he impresses his onlookers as he jumps a few feet into the air.
