Miss Honduras turned 19 in Belize as she arrived to partake in the Costa Maya Pageant. On Friday, July 27, 2012, Miss Honduras Sthefany Maolyth Piñeda Perez was given a special treat by the San Ignacio Resort Hotel. As the group of ladies were given a tour to the Iguana Project, an initiative by the San Ignacio Resort to help protect Green Iguanas in Belize, Sthefany was covered in baby iguanas who gave her birthday kisses. She and the delegates had fun interacting with the reptiles and took many photos to take memories back home.
