The First Machine

I hold you proud
You move with me
We are finite & infinite
Energy, liquid, solid matter
You are I, am I you?
My ordinary body
Physical world glorified
Taste & touch
Preach your beauty
Continually
You form me

Your body is the first machine. The fuel you use is chemistry that converts to energy. Thoughts, food, emotions, beliefs, are some of the main elements you put in your body that generate chemistry that created the energy that promotes your life. Without the body only spirit essence remains.

Existence on this earth requires the first machine which is your body. You are nothing without your body. The same chemistry that comprises you is also in the earth, therefore without the earth your machine would have nothing to stand on.

The first machine needs to be taken care of, because without caring for you, you cannot be the best you can be nor see your true image. That image is spirit in form. Your true image is created by the source – not a life time of opinions from the world; but the world wants to influence you.

The most common problem people have with their self image is based on what they are told by the media. Each day we are bombarded with TV commercials, magazines, radio, etc. Telling us how we should look and feel. Movies show us lifestyles and possessions that should make our lives better, what to wear and how to fit in.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to look and feel the best every day, but don’t compare yourself to magazine covers and TV images. Get to know your authentic self. As you live your natural self, you generate the energy to create great chemistry for your machine. As far as your body goes, most people overlook the positive qualities they have and focus on areas they dislike.

Unless you are willing to go through radical surgery, you can’t change parts of your body. And why would you want to? Your body is a miraculous wonder just the way it is. No matter what shape you are in, it’s important to respect and love your machine. Instead of giving yourself a hard time for the extra love handles, think about how strong your arms and legs are.

Rather than focus on your nose being too big, why not see the beauty emanating from your eyes. Most often only you think something is wrong with the way you look. Why not simply love and accept your machine and know that if you choose you have the power to generate the energy to change your life. After all at the end of the day it’s all about how you feel inside your skin.
