Dale and Marjorie Dale — wed his soulmate Candice Castillo — Attorney-at-Law and daughter of Alfonso Castillo Jr. and Elida Castillo, of San Pedro, A.C., Belize — at the Tryall Club in Montego Bay, Jamaica on Saturday, July 23, 2011.
Tying The Knot…
The breathtaking view at Tryall Club, served as the venue and was made even more gorgeous with décor by Tai Flora Luxe. The picturesque view on top of Tryall’s golfcourse of the city of Montego Bay provided a backdrop with the Belizean and Jamaican Flags flying in the air during the ceremony. The view perfectly complemented the acoustic sounds of Bruno Mars’ Marry You during the bridal party’s procession and Wagner’s Bridal Chorus played by the groom’s aunt Yvonne Southwoood-Smith announced the bride as she walked up the aisle on both her parents’ arms. Candice dazzled in an Ella gown, with a 3” Swarovski belt ornamented with make-up and a coiffed do by Joni Powell of Gourmet Makeup. She clutched a bouquet of ivory, lavender, purple and blue roses wrapped in ivory ribbon. Her five bridesmaids wore tiffany-blue dresses, with bouquets of purple roses and silver shoes and accessories, while the dashing groom wore black tux accented with ivory vest and tie and his five groomsmen wore black tuxes with tiffany-blue vests and ties. The two flower girls wore ivory dresses accented with tiffany blue bows and headpieces while the ring bearer looked elegant in his black tux and ivory accents complementing the bride and groom.
Reverend Courtney Walters officiated the ceremony, before the 125 guests enjoyed cocktails by the pool and a fun-filled reception hosted at the same venue by the beach terrace. Notable moments at the reception were the bridal party’s and the newlywed’s entrance to Peppa, a popular Jamaican dancehall song, while the best man, the groom’s brother, Drury Dale and the bride’s father, Alfonso Castillo —— had guests rolling in their seats with their wedding toasts. The newlyweds then put on their dancing shoes for a Mambo routine before cutting into their triple layer – red velvet, chocolate and fruit cake created by Noida and Leanne Cooke followed by a night of fun and dance.
After a truly magical evening, Bion and Candice honeymooned in Rome, Italy and London, England.
