It’s Valentine’s Day and Love is in the air. Everywhere in the streets you see people dressed in red, people buying gifts for that special someone, beautiful roses and flower arrangements being delivered to a loved one. With all this love in the air, schools in San Pedro also celebrated this special day with different activities for the children.
ABC Pre-School Arts
The students of ABC Preschool shared this special day with parents making arts and crafts. The children got to cut out hearts and color them to make their heart shaped wind chimes. According to Principal Mr. Wil Alamilla, this was the biggest turn out of parents that the school has ever had and is really glad to see parent participation on a special day like Valentine’s Day.
Isla Bonita Elementary Valentine’s Fair
Students, family and friends of Isla Bonita Elementary School enjoyed a Valentine’s Fair at the School grounds. The Valentine’s Fair commenced at noon and is mostly a fund raising activity for the participating girls for the Ms. IBES Pageant. There were lots to eat and drink and lots of other items for sale.
