Are you a seasoned Captain with a passion for training and a love for the sea? Raggasailing Adventures, a reputable and long-standing 5-star tour operator on Caye Caulker, is seeking a Captain Trainer to join our dynamic team.
Position: Captain Trainer
Location: Caye Caulker, Belize
Responsibilities:
- Train existing captains on skillful sailing and navigation techniques for large catamarans (50 feet plus) used in overnight charters within the waters inside the reef.
- Conduct training sessions on safety, maneuvering, safety procedures, and customer service excellence.
- Collaborate with the management team to enhance and develop training programs.
- Provide ongoing support and mentorship to captains for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- US Coast Guard Captain license or equivalent.
ASA training or instructor training or equivalent certification.
Professional background in education and/or customer service-oriented roles.
Knowledge of Belizean waters is a plus.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Captain, preferably in the tourism or charter industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt training methods to meet the diverse needs of captains.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
