ABC Pre-School held the mother's day day arts and crafts session where moms got to enjoy a special day with their children. Teachers and students of San Pedro RC School held a mother's day program for all the moms.

Saturday, May 5, 2012, San Pedro High School held its annual Business Fair at the R. Angel Auditorium. The Juniors and Seniors greeted all their customers with open arms and tried their best to impress, sell and represent their businesses. Just like in the business world today, there were many competitors and excellent marketing teams.

San Pedro’s Miracle Baby - Daniel Estell has just come back from a follow-up check up in Columbia, South America after his liver transplant took place in August 2010. We are happy to announce that he has a clean bill of health and arrived back on the island today, Wednesday, April 25, 2012, with a huge smile on his face after seeing his family waiting for him at the airport.

The fundraiser is one of the two biggest events the Commission hosts every year and with resounding success of last year’s show, the Commission brought the superstars from Merida, Yucatan once again to entertain during the Easter festivities.

The San Pedro Holiday Hotel officially repoened its restaurant and bar under the new name Caprice; giving the establishment a new look. Classy Chic comes to mind when you step into Caprice; with a long and elegant bar, four different lounge areas, a waterfall wall, and the large deck converted into the restaurant dining area, the establishment now gives off more of a boutique-hotel feeling.

Kelly McGuire visited the Island Academy this morning, Friday, February 03, 2012, during their morning assembly where he taught the students the lyrics to his song "Ambergris Caye". It was a great sing-along session for the students as they all had fun learning the lyrics to the song, danced a couple other nursery rhymes and also song Happy Birthday to Kelly.

Angelo Marin turned five on January 24 but celebrated with a big Scooby Doo Birthday Bash on Saturday, January 28, 2012 with all his friends and family on the beach by Boca del Rio Park. Island parties on the beach are always fun! Angelo and friends enjoyed games, food and drinks on the beach along with entertainment of a fire-eating clown who also served up some crazy ballon animals!
