San Pedro has a new queen! Under the glittering theme “Beauty and the Sea”, the 66th Miss San Pedro Pageant was held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, delivering an evening of elegance, entertainment, and dazzling talent as five contestants vied for the coveted crown.
A New Queen Emerges
Taking center stage with poise, eloquence, and radiant energy, Miley Chi captured the judges’ and audience’s hearts, earning the title of Miss San Pedro 2025–2026. Her grace carried her through all three judged segments of the competition, and in addition to the crown, she was also awarded the Miss Congeniality sash.
The Theme: Beauty and the Sea
This year’s theme came alive through the vibrant stage décor and the costume competition, where each contestant represented an element of the sea.

Karisha Rubio – The Coral Reefs
Karely Sho – The Importance of Coastal Waters
The creativity and meaning woven into the costumes reflected the pageant’s celebration of San Pedro’s deep connection to the sea.
Other Highlights of the Night
The show opened with an introductory dance featuring the five contestants alongside outgoing queen Miss San Pedro 2024, Alexa Acosta. Contestants then competed in swimsuit and evening gown segments, showcasing elegance and confidence.

In her farewell speech, Alexa Acosta reflected on her reign with heartfelt emotion: “Being Miss San Pedro has truly been one of the most transformative and meaningful experiences in my life.” She spoke about achieving her dreams, proudly representing her island home, and how the crown helped her overcome insecurities, embrace self-love, and grow stronger inside and out.
Entertainment & Community Spirit
The pageant also featured stellar performances that kept the energy alive between segments. The San Pedro RC School Elite Dancers, Jungle Jewels Dance Company from Corozal, and singer Chelsey Castro brought music and movement that added to the night’s magic.
