San Pedro Transport Department Press Release

The General Public is advised that when selling a vehicle, the buyer needs to produce a valid a permit from the Ambergris Caye Traffic Control Committee before executing the sale. Failure to do so, results in the seller being imposed a fine when applying for his/her replacement. Likewise, before importing any vehicle into San Pedro one need(s) to possess a valid permit, which should be presented to barge owners before embarkation; failure will result in being fined and vehicle impounded or returned to place of origin immediately.
