Free Summer Sailing Camp Offered At Caribbean Villas Hotel – KIDS-Summer is here, school is out – Would you like to learn how to sail?
Eight free “mini” sailing camps for beginning sailors between the ages of 9 and 15 are being offered 14 July to 24 July at the Caribbean Villas Hotel. Students will learn the basics of sailing including two hours of private “in the boat” sailing lessons under the supervision of a nationally recognized and BzSA (Belize Sailing Association) certified sailing instructor and two hours of “on-land” lessons where students will learn knot-tying skills, parts of the boat and general principals of sailing. A certificate will be awarded at the completion of the camp.
Kids can sign up for one of the following camps (Limited attendees per camp):
Camp 1: 14 & 15 July – 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Camp 2: 14 & 15 July – 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Camp 3: 16 & 17 July – 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Camp 4: 16 & 17 July – 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Camp 5: 21 & 22 July – 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Camp 6: 21 & 22 July – 1:00 to 3:00 p.m
Camp 7: 23 & 24 July – 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Camp 8: 23 & 24 July – 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
