The San Pedro Lions Club is one of the hardest working groups on the island, always working to raise funds, help the sick and needy and doing much more. But around Christmas time they are known for throwing the best Senior Citizens Dance, Children’s Party, a very festive Christmas Caroling and the ever popular New Year’s Dance!
On Saturday, December 18, our senior citizens were once again hosted to a fun-filled night hosted by the Lions Club with the help from the staff of the San Pedro Belize Bank Branch. There was lot to eat and drink; great music by Rompe Raja, raffles and surprises.
Santa Visits the Lions Den
The Children’s Annual Christmas Party was held on Sunday, December 19. Santa was present at the Lion’s Den where he distributed many gifts to anxious little children. The Christmas cheer was definitely felt as the young children opened their gifts and had big bright smiles on their faces.
The Lions Club will be having their Christmas Caroling on Wednesday, December 23 in the Boca Del Rio and San Mateo Area. Merry Christmas to all!
