The Ambergris Caye Citizens for Sustainable Development (ACCSD) is part of the Belize Coalition against offshore drilling for oil. They are currently working on gathering enough signatures to call for a national referendum on the issue (at least 15,000 signatures needed).
If you are a registered voter in Belize, you are URGED to come to the ACCSD office above Blu on Barrier Reef Drive opposite the Holiday Hotel and sign up to get the Government to listen to the people. Forms for the Signature Collection for NO Oil Drilling are also available at the following offices: Seaduced, San Pedro Town Council, Ambergris Today, and you can also sign up with Miguel Perez.
