On Saturday, October 15, 2011, the Lions Club brought back to life the Miss San Pedro Lions Club Pageant after 15 years. Five lovely contestants: Nayeli Puc, Thalia Blanco, Shantell Pascascio, Jordana Segura and Solanie Graniel took the stage to compete for the title and entertained a full house at the San Pedro Lions Club. Coming out victorious was Shantell Pascascio, the new Miss San Pedro Lions Club 2011.
Many people gathered at the Lions Club to cheer and support their favorite contestant. The pageant kicked off with an amazing dance presentation by all the lovely contestants who were presented by the host of the night, Mr. Eiden Salazar. During the interlude there were more dance presentations by the San Pedro Dance Company, as well as great music provided by DJ Habo and lots of food and drinks.
Next up was the Sports Wear Competition which had the girls modeling and expressing themselves on the runway. This part of the competition was indeed an eye-catcher for the audience and especially the judges. Following was the most entertaining part of the pageant, the Talent Competition. All the contestants did an amazing job in dancing, singing and acting and thoroughly entertained the audience that was full of cheer and laughter.
Soon the mood dimmed down and it was time for the Evening Wear Competition. All five lovely contestants took the stage for the last time in order to win the judges while portraying themselves very elegantly. The judges indeed had a hard task in choosing the winner of the night especially since all five contestants did a fantastic job at their question and answer competition.
All emotions gathered as it was time to award the lovely contestants with their well earned prizes including the new Miss San Pedro Lions Club 2011 Queen. The prizes are as follows, Miss photogenic: Jordana Segura (presented by Geraldo Photography), Miss Congeniality: Shantell Pascascio, First Runner Up: Solani Graniel and Miss San Pedro Lions Club 2011: Shantell Pascascio.
The crowd cheered with joy for the crowing of their new queen and for the great success that the Lions Club had on pageant. Congratulations to Shantell Pascascio on her triumph, wishing you the best!
