Lovely Destinee Arnold just recently won the title of Miss Costa Maya International 2013-2014 and is off to represent Belize at the Miss United Continent Pageant in Guayaquil, Ecuador, but there are two more Belizean beauties who will be proudly representing Belize in two international pageants.
Idolly Saldivar, Miss World Belize 2013-2014, will have the task of representing Belize at this year’s Miss World Pageant in Jakarta, Indonesia while Karen Middleton, Miss America Latina Del Mundo Belize 2013-2014, will participate in the Miss America Latina Del Mundo Pageant in Cancun, Mexico.

Idolly Saldivar – Miss World Belize 2013-2014
Miss World Belize 2013-2014 will be represented by Miss Idolly Louise Saldivar of Belize City at the 63rd Miss World Final Contest to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Miss Salidvar is a beautiful model with black hair, dark brown eyes, 5ft 5in tall and is a graduate from Palloti High School in Academic Science. She also earned an Associate Degree in General Studies from St. John’s College, School of Liberal Arts. Her future ambition is to become a dentist.
Idolly enjoys reading, dancing, hiking and softball. Her favorite instrument is the guitar. She is the titleholder for Miss Earth Belize 2012-2013 (1st runner up), Miss Piel Dorada Belize 2011 and Miss Belize Costa Maya International 2011.
She describes herself as, “a determined, hard working, intelligent individual who strives for success and expects to do great things in the future”. Her motto is “Perseverance and determination equals success.”
Idolly will be competing with approximately 130 countries contestants in this year’s event on September 28, 2013 which will be televised by (E!) Entertainment Television. Idolly is scheduled to arrive in the City of Bali on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 and depart from Jakarta, Indonesia to return to Belize on the 30th of September 2013.
Karen Middleton – Miss America Latina Del Mundo Belize 2013-2014
Miss Karen Jasmine Middleton, 20 years old of Corozal Town, will be representing Belize at Miss America Latina del Mundo 2013 also known as Miss Latin America of the World 2013 Pageant. The international event activities will begin on Sunday, August 18, 2013. Delegates will be arriving from more than 30 Latin countries from five continents that will be competing at the Barcelo Maya Beach Resort in Riviera Maya, Cancun, Mexico.
Karen is a gorgeous model that is 5ft 9in tall, has black hair and brown eyes. Her favorite sport is basketball. She also enjoys cultural and modern dances. Her ambition is to work as a businesswoman and to be the owner of her business.
Karen has been in pageants since the age 16 including Queen of the Bay Corozal 2008, Miss Independence Corozal 2008 (Winner), Miss World Belize 2009 (Winner of Miss Amity and 2nd Runner up), Miss Biltmore Best Western Swimsuit Contest 2011 (Winner), Reina del Tropic Belize 2012 (Winner), Reina del Tropico International 2012 (Winner of Miss Friendship Award in Honduras) and Miss Belize Costa Maya International 2012.
Miss Latina America of the World 2013 finals and coronation event will take place on Saturday, August 31 at 9:00p.m. The pageant venue will be Teatro Monte Alban located inside the Barcelo Maya Palace Hotel. Show admission for hotel guests of Barcelo Maya Beach Resort will be free. All Belizeans are encouraged to attend this special event and support Miss Karen Middleton.
