The Caribbean Export Development Agency (Caribbean Export), in partnership with the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), presented the Caribbean Kitchen Pavilion at the ANUGA 2013 Food Show, Germany, October 5-9, 2013 and was a huge success.

This was the first time Caribbean Export has taken a collective of food and beverage producers to ANUGA as part of Caribbean Kitchen.  The 212sqm space showcased a variety of food and beverage products from across the region, including Taste13 award winners Banana Ketchup from Baron Foods, Tiger Malt from Beverages Caribbean Inc. and Marie Sharp’s Fruit Flavors from Belize.

It is where visitors were able to get an overview of the top new products at Anuga 2013 that was selected by an international jury of trade journalists.

“It was a very, very busy food show; ANUGA is the world’s largest food show and I think that because our products were picked for its uniqueness because they are fruit flavored habanera, they were showcased at the entrance of the show grounds,” stated Marie Sharp to Belize City media.

According to Sharp a number of countries showed great interest in her habanero sauce including Kuwiat, Dubai, Ireland and Canada. Products on display at the food show were Better Beware: Marie Sharp’s Hottest Trio, Fresh Fruit Flavors by Marie Sharp’s Habanero Sauce and The Classical Marie Sharp’s Habanero Sauce.
